The 1,000-cap room at 420 Mason — formerly Ruby Skye — reborn as a live-music hall with a big floor and wraparound mezzanine. Books a wide mix: touring bands, DJ sets, comedy. Good sightlines from the mezz, easy Powell BART access, and Fifth Arrow next door for bowling and cocktails before or after. Solid mid-size option when the headliner isn't quite Bill Graham-sized.
